Apologies, but I haven't posted here for some time!
Well I am now officially a mummy of five, though my little monkey was 12 days late! She is now about to turn four months and is absolutely scrummy! I have lots of new makes, but am unable to add photos on here as I am using my iPad.
So how about you head over to my page www.facebook.com/bramblecrafts and have a mooch around!
I hope to see you there.
Deborah

So, been mega hectic, summer holidays then back to doing the school runs. In between that I work from home and also have a craft page on Facebook (www.facebook.com/bramblecrafts) and I have been busy with orders!
Above are my hand made dummy savers! The smaller one is designed to secure around the strap of a pram or car seat (using the button) and the dummy attaches to the other end.
The larger one is a 'Snuggle-Up Comforter', a good sized- comform blanket with detachable dummy saver.
They can be made in any colour and are for sale on my FB page (www.facebook.com/bramblecrafts)
Above is my Christmas cardigan and hat set! Newborn size, and are completely lovely! Cannot wait to try these on my little girl bump when she arrives!
I made these lovely fingerless gloves for myself ready for winter, and thought fingerless would be better due to sorting a baby in a pram/car seat!
Today's creation! This is a new born owl hat, I LOVED making it!
All my items can be re-made to order, in any colour. Just head over to my Facebook page to order: www.facebook.com/bramblecrafts

My handmade nappy bag and accessories. I made these using Clarke and Clarke fabric. Absolutely love them, so pleased with them and cannot wait to use them!

Well, after a successful weekend of crocheting when time allowed, I am pleased to say I have finished two baby hats! I am absolutely chuffed to bits with them. I had made a hat previously, but it was a bit big. These should be perfect. I will add the pattern on here later. The peach/white coloured hat also has a matching cardigan, but I need to sew it together yet (just waiting for new needle to arrive). Will make matching mittens and booties for both, as well as a matching cardigan for the red hat.
Welcome to my blog!

Well, I finally got around to setting up a new blog. I have tried various blogs in the past, but lost interest. But with this one, well, how can I?
I have set it up with the primary aim of showcasing my crochet-makes for the little girl I am carrying, due 8th October 2012. If the patterns work out, then I will offer the patterns to you, so you can make your own.
I am a self-taught crocheter, after seeing my Mum make some wonderful things, and through following videos on YouTube, I taught myself. Now I am 'hooked'! (sorry).
I recently crocheted a pair of baby booties and a cardigan. Tonight I am making a hat to match the cardigan. I will upload photos asap.
I also recently made a lovely nappy bag for the baby out of Clarke and Clarke fabric. It has a matching dummy purse, child health record cover, and (what I call my) 'Nappy Bag on the go'. I love them and cannot wait to use them.
As per the name of my blog, I am a mummy of 5......4 already here, plus the one I am pregnant with. My partner also has 2 children, so it gets busy at weekends!
I hope you enjoy what you see here.
Many thanks for looking,
Deborah
